INSTITUTION OF ENGINEERS (INDIA) STUDENT CHAPTER INAUGURATION

Institution of Engineers (India) Head quarters @ Kolkatta is a famous & largest Academic Organization promoting the advancement of engineering science in India through its 103 centers out of which 6 centers are in Andhra Pradesh.


The student chapter in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Computer Engineering Departments at Eswar College of Engineering, Narasaraopet, Guntur District has been inaugurated by Prof. T. Narayana, Chairman, IEI A.P. State Centre, Hyderabad on 14th July, 2012.



The advantages and benefits of becoming member in the Institution of Engineers (India) was elaborated to all the members of students chapter by Prof. T. Narayana, Chief Guest of the inauguration programme. The benefits includes, participation @ various seminars, conferences, colloquiums, programmes of National importance (such as Engineers day, etc.,) Exemption in section ‘A’, getting Dual Engineering degree equivalent to B. Tech in any other branch to the B. Tech degree holders, Research grants for B. Tech, M. Tech & Ph.D project works etc.,.

Eswar college of Engineering is the very first Engineering college, started the “IEI Student Chapter” in Palnadu region for the benefit of the college students. College authorities & Management is implementing the various innovative programmes for motivating the students so as to get very good placements said Dr. V. Murthy rao Khokalay, Principal.

Prof. T. Narayana, Chairman, IEI APSC, Hyderabad, Chief guest of the programme was felicitated and memento was presented by Sk. Kareem, Correspondent, Eswar College of Engineering, Narasaraopet.
