A very great news for all of us.

Our beloved Principal Dr.V.Murthy Rao Khokalay received the National Vikas Jyothi Award given by the Economic Growth Society of India at New Delhi. He achieved this by his work and articles about the environment, which were published in many international newspapers and journals.

This is not a small achievement, its really showing us the way, how to use our knowledge to improve the conditions of our environment.

We, the management are very happy about this achievement of our principal and we welcome all of you to congratulate our respected principal on this gracious moment.

At the same time we want to point you all one thing about his greatness, that we have to learn the time management from him as well utilized his time along with the daily chores ,he achieved this award. So students, we have a role model before you all. Hope you all follow this and reach the great heights like him.

National Mathematics Day

" NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY " was organised at grand level at our college on 22-12-2009 (Tuesday), in view of the 122nd birth anniversary of Sri Srīnivāsa Aiyangār Rāmānujan better known as Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan (Tamil: சீனிவாச இராமானுஜன் or ஸ்ரீனிவாஸ ஐயங்கார் ராமானுஜன்) (22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920) was an Indian mathematician and self taught genius who, with almost no formal training in pure mathematics, made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series and continued fractions.



In the beside picture, you can view Sri Ramanujan's home on Sarangapani Street, Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu.

The Program started with a welcome speech by Sri. Yamuna garu, Faculty, Dept. of Maths inviting the respected dignitaries onto the dias and then continued with lightening of the lamp by our chief guest Dr.B.Satyanarayana garu and next with a prayer song by our first year female students and then it followed by the valuable speeches.

Our beloved Principal, Dr.V.Murthy Rao Khokalay explained about the organisation of the 'Mathematics day' and said that Mathematics is the basic subject for engineering especially for computer science students. He said, Eswar College of Engineering is always ahead to organise such important days and invite eminent personalities to inculcate the thought provocation and inspiration for the benefit of the students.

The life sketch of Srinivasa Ramanujan was explained/elaborated by Sri Phani Kumar, Faculty, Maths Dept. and the brief details of the chief guest was explained by Sri G.Maruthi Prasad, Faculty, Dept. of Maths.

Dr.B.Satyanarayana, Professor, Dept. of Mathematics, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur has attended the function as a chief guest. He said in his addressing the gathering at seminar hall that "Meditation will improve the concentration on studies and exploration of energy will make a turning point of every student." Every student must carryout meditation for a period equal to their age, he advised the students duly giving the examples of Srinivasa Ramanujan.

Felicitation to Dr.B.Satyanarayana garu by garland, shawl and a memento also presented by our Director Sri Sharif garu.

The Vote of thanks delivered by Sri G. Karunakar garu, Faculty, Dept. of Maths and finally the program ended with national anthem.

Anti Ragging Program

Ragging is usually conducted during a fixed period in most institutions, which may range from day one to almost the whole year. Once this period is over, 'seniors' suddenly become "friends" (apparently): the beginning of this new relationship is often a "fresher's party". However, it often turns like a Dracula story, where the seniors incorporate some of the willing juniors to their gang, so that they may continue ragging (which is often used also as a tool for financial exploitations). Next these "incorporated" or "befriended" juniors also rag their juniors when the formers become seniors in the next year.

In any event, innumerable freshers under severe stress may then leave the system, or may be suffering from serious psychological trauma, which may continue to take its toll through post-traumatic stress disorders. Occasionally, there may be physical injury, and some may even commit suicide.

To stop this eswar college of engineering started anti-ragging squad, which involves students as well as lecturers in that. This anti ragging programme was conducted in our college and inaugurated by the Chief Guest: Sri T. SURYA PRAKASH RAO Garu, D.S.P.,Narasaraopet.

While addressing , he mentioned that it's a good step and intiative taken by the management. And also he mentioned students to keep away from this ragging, which causes problem to there career.

So Students, lets try to keep ourself and avoid ragging system in our college

College upgraded as Automated Library

This post will make us to feel proud about our college. The news is that the Library of our college is automated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Yes!!!! its a paperfree and hassle free process. No need of checking the files/books to know about the Book Issues, renewals & availability of the book etc.

As management told right from the day one, that they will try to keep the college technically ahead of other colleges, thats what our college is proving and making that. Its the first college to implemented this technology and remaining others are far behind us.

The automated library was started by Honorable Dr.K.Srinivasulu, RDO of Narasaraopet. Its a great feeling that a notable step in the history of the college is done in the presence of such good and great person.

At that time Chairman of our college , Mr.SK Meeravali Stated that still they are going to implement a lot of activities which will help to increase the brand name of our college as well as our students.

Students! Now its our turn to utilize the facility provided to us.The more support we provided the more opportunities will come for us.

we have to say thanks to our SK.Kareem,Secretary and correspondent and SK Sharif,Director last but not least to our beloved Principal, Dr.V.Murthyrao Khokalay with out whom this project will not be succeeded.
